How does signing documents in Keighbor work?
Sign what you need to sign. Send documents out for others to sign, and get the sealed copy back into the room with a record of who signed and when.
See signatures, on screen in a room with your own address on it.

Why this page existsSo you can see exactly what this part of a room does, and what it will not do, before you set one up.
The short answer
Open any PDF in the room, place the signature and date fields where they go (or let the room find the form's own fields), and send it to whoever needs to sign. Each person gets a link, arrives on a page that walks them field to field, and signs on screen. No account needed on their side.
What it does
Open any PDF in the room, place the signature and date fields where they go (or let the room find the form's own fields), and send it to whoever needs to sign. Each person gets a link, arrives on a page that walks them field to field, and signs on screen. No account needed on their side.
When everyone has signed, the document is sealed: the fields are baked into the PDF, a certificate records who signed and when, and the finished copy lands back in Documents. Everyone who signed gets their copy by email.
Fields stay editable until the document is sealed, so a signer who made a mistake can fix it, and the server refuses any change after sealing.
Send a document out. Each person signs on screen; the sealed copy comes back to the room.
A short film of this is on its way.How it saves your work
The sealed PDF, certificate, provider audit trail, and each signer's consent record are kept together. Keighbor retains that signed record after account deletion so the completed signature and its history can be verified later. See the privacy and deletion policies for details.
Sending a document for binding signature is the one thing we cannot refund, and the pricing page says so.
How you use it
- Open the document in Documents and press "Send for signature".
- Place the fields, or accept the ones the form already has. Add each signer.
- Send. Each signer gets a link and signs on their own screen.
- The sealed copy arrives in Documents when the last person signs.
What it won't do
It does not tell you what to sign or whether to sign it. It carries the document and records the signatures.
It is not a notary. A document that needs one still needs one.
