How do showings and the calendar work?

Paint the hours you can show the house. Buyers and their agents book what is left, and every deadline of the sale sits on the same calendar.

See showings, booked for you in a room with your own address on it.

Free to set up. No credit card. Nothing starts a clock.

Why this page existsShowings are the one part of a sale that happens in your house, on somebody else's schedule.

The short answer

The calendar is the sale's clock. Set the hours you are willing to show the home by painting a week's grid with a finger or a mouse; presets add weekday evenings or weekends with one tap. Your public page and your listing carry a booking link, and a buyer or their agent picks a slot from what you allowed.

What it does

The calendar is the sale's clock. Set the hours you are willing to show the home by painting a week's grid with a finger or a mouse; presets add weekday evenings or weekends with one tap. Your public page and your listing carry a booking link, and a buyer or their agent picks a slot from what you allowed.

A booking request arrives as the first thing the gold button shows. Approve it and it is on the calendar with who is coming; the room asks you to get the house ready when it is within a day and a half.

Once you're under contract, add or confirm the inspection window, appraisal, financing deadline, walk-through, and closing date on the same calendar. Keighbor doesn't read or interpret the contract.

Paint the hours you can show the house. A buyer books one of them; your phone buzzes.

How it saves your work

Your hours, every booking, and every deadline are the sale's own records, kept with it and shared only through a link you make. A calendar share link can be sent to your agent or the title company so they see the same dates.

Who came to which showing is recorded against that buying side, so when an offer comes in you can see who they are and when they visited.

How you use it

  1. Open Calendar from the menu. Press "Set my hours" and paint the grid.
  2. Share your home. The booking link rides on the public page, the flyers, and the Craigslist ad.
  3. When a request comes in, the gold button shows it. Approve or decline in one press.
  4. Add events yourself or accept dates that arrive through your sale's messages after confirming them.

What it won't do

It does not book into hours you did not paint, and it does not pick times for you.

It does not replace a lockbox or a showing service; it is the calendar those things fill.

Questions people ask about this

Can buyers see my whole calendar?
No. They see open slots inside the hours you set. Nothing else.
Does this need a plan?
Setting hours and taking bookings opens with the first plan, at the listing. Before that the calendar is yours to read and add to.
