Deleting your account and data
From inside your account: open your Room, press your initials in the top-right corner, then choose Account settings, and press Delete my account. You'll see exactly what will be removed before you confirm. Deletion runs immediately.
What gets deleted: your account and sign-in (including any connected Google or Facebook sign-in), your transactions and their documents, photos, messages, contacts, and worksheets.
What we keep, and why: if a document was signed by you and other people, the sealed record stays archived: the signed PDF, the certificate of completion, the signing audit trail, and the record of each signer agreeing to sign electronically. A signed contract is the other signers' legal record as much as yours, and a signature is only worth something if the proof behind it still exists. Everything else goes: messages, documents, photos, contacts, the sale itself. See our Privacy Policy for the full reasoning, and how to have a signed record removed as well.
If you can't sign in (or you signed a document on Keighbor without ever having an account): email us at hello@keighbor.com from the address involved, ask for deletion, and we'll handle it and confirm back to you.
Questions first? Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect and how it's stored.
Nothing you do here is permanent until you choose it to be. How it works shows what a room holds, and the privacy policy says what we keep.
